Common questions

Are the resources really free?

Yes. Reading the guides costs nothing, and the PDF downloads are free. The form asks for your name, phone number and email so a licensed agent can follow up if you want help. You are never required to buy anything.

Why do you ask for my phone number and email before a download?

The downloads are a way for people to ask us for help. A licensed agent may contact you about your request. If you only want to read, every guide on this site is open without the form.

Are these resources legal or tax advice?

No. They are general education. My Legacy Management is an insurance agency, not a law firm. Talk to a California-licensed attorney about legal documents and a tax professional about taxes.

Who writes these guides?

My Legacy Management, a licensed insurance agency in Oceanside, California (CA Insurance License #0M17715). Each guide lists the public sources it relies on, such as Medicare.gov and the California Probate Code.

Is there a Spanish version?

Yes. The Medicare and estate resources have Spanish versions, written in formal Spanish, at mylegacymanagement.com/es/recursos/.
